Intelligent Energy Management: Reducing Consumption, Optimizing Performance, Maximizing ROI
Why Saudi Arabia Demands Excellence in ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Comprehensive Energy Audits (ASHRAE Level 1, 2 & 3)
We conduct detailed energy audits following ASHRAE standards — identifying energy conservation measures (ECMs), quantifying savings potential, prioritizing investments by payback period, and providing actionable roadmaps for implementation.
Lighting Controls & Daylight Harvesting
We implement occupancy sensors, daylight sensors, time-based scheduling, and dimming controls — ensuring lights are on only when and where needed. Integration with BMS enables centralized scheduling, overrides, and energy reporting.
Smart Sub-Metering & Granular Visibility
You cannot manage what you do not measure. We install high-accuracy sub-meters at the equipment, zone, floor, or tenant level — giving you granular visibility into exactly where, when, and how energy is consumed across your facility.
Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD)
Our BMS-integrated FDD engines continuously monitor equipment performance, detect inefficiencies (e.g., stuck dampers, fouled coils, failed sensors, simultaneous heating/cooling), and alert your team before energy waste becomes costly — or becomes a breakdown.
HVAC Optimization & Advanced Controls
HVAC typically represents 40–60% of building energy consumption. We optimize chiller plant sequencing, air handling unit schedules, variable frequency drives (VFDs), demand control ventilation (DCV), and economizer modes — typically reducing HVAC energy by 20–35%.
Demand Management & Peak Load Reduction
Saudi commercial electricity tariffs include demand charges (kVA) that can represent 30–50% of your bill. We implement demand limiting, load shedding, peak shaving, and generator optimization to reduce your peak demand — delivering immediate and substantial savings.
General Questions
What is the difference between energy monitoring and energy management?
Energy monitoring simply tells you how much energy you are using — typically through dashboards and reports. Energy management actively controls equipment to reduce consumption — adjusting setpoints, scheduling operations, shedding non-critical loads, and optimizing sequences. We deliver both, because monitoring without control cannot save money.
How do you verify energy savings? Can you guarantee results?
Yes. We follow IPMVP (International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol) — the global standard for quantifying energy savings. We establish a baseline before implementation, adjust for weather and occupancy variables, and measure actual savings post-implementation. Many of our contracts include performance guarantees where our fee is tied to achieved savings.
Can you integrate energy management into my existing BMS, or do I need a new system?
In most cases, we can integrate with your existing BMS — regardless of vendor (Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider, ABB, Tridium, Distech, etc.). We add sub-meters, sensors, gateways, and software layers on top of your existing infrastructure. Only in cases of obsolete or unsupported systems do we recommend replacement.
How does energy management support Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative?
Vision 2030 includes ambitious energy efficiency and carbon reduction targets. The Saudi Green Initiative aims for Net Zero by 2060. Our energy management solutions directly contribute by reducing building energy consumption (typically 20–40%), lowering carbon emissions, supporting renewable integration, and providing verifiable data for sustainability reporting. Many of our clients use our data for LEED, Mostadam, or GRESB reporting.
